Antique Edwardian Sheer Cotton Gauze Lace Trim Skirt / 23 waist

A beautiful Edwardian skirt, which can be worn in a myriad of ways in the modern day. Super lightweight, un-dyed cotton. A simple waistband that closes with a pair of hook-and-eye closures. The skirt is trimmed with a lovely floral lace. Incredibly sheer! *blouse in photos not included* The waist is quite wee, however, you could lower the waistband, and create a new waistband from some of the reduced material, thus creating a bit more room. A seamstress or tailor could do this quite easily if it's not in your skillset.

Antique, fair-good condition. Actually, the flaws here are minimal, but there are several. The skirt presents quite beautifully, in spite of these small flaws: there are a number of small rust stains at the waist band, as well as a very small hole; one pin-hole in the body of the skirt; one small dark spot the size of a pen tip on the body of the skirt; a 1cm length repair at roughly hip level; here and there a couple of very faint tea coloured stains. The seams are strong. French seams throughout. The lace is incredible with no tears noted... such a rarity! A lovely antique skirt!
