Vintage 1950s L'AIGLON Toile de Jouy Blue and White Dress / 26 waist

Gorgeous vintage 50's L'Aiglon dress in a blue and white floral toile de jouy print. The dress is sleeveless, with a halter like neck that snaps closed at the back. Darted bust and fitted at the waist. The skirt is pleated all the way around the waist, lending loads of volume. Pictured here with and without a petticoat, (**not included**). The dress zips to close on the left side, with a metal zipper. There is a pocket there as well! Just one, on the left side. Please see the measurements for best fit.
Vintage, very good condition, overall. There is some faint discolouration around some of the inside edges. There is a a small faint mark by the waistband. A small repair was done to the skirt, that I only noticed from the inside. Not a flaw, necessarily, but there is some hand stitching at the back of the neck. Please see all the photos for details. A beautiful 1950's dress!
