Vintage 1940s FRUIT of the LOOM Floral & Basket Print House Dress / 38 bust

Vintage late 1940s dress by Fruit of the Loom. The dress is made of a sturdy cotton, softened from decades of wear and washing. The fabric has a charming print, with rows of flowers and leaves, alternating with lines of woven basket. The dress has a lovely collar, v-neck, and is sleeveless. It buttons down the left side (your left, as the wearer) with dark blue buttons. One pocket on the right side. Truly adorable! Perfect for summer picnics, lounging in the shade with a book, or just about anything you can see yourself doing in a comfy cotton dress. Please see the measurements for best fit.

Vintage, good condition overall. Some of the edges are slightly faded, and two of the buttons are different from the others, but are the same size and colour, so no one will notice. :) Clean and ready to wear.

Shoulders are 15 inches across from arm opening to opening
Chest is 19 inches across
Waist is 16 inches across
Hips are 24 inches across
Length is 41 inches from shoulder seam to hem
