A very pretty vintage 50s shirtwaist dress! Lightweight cream cotton with white chain-stitching and eyelet floral cutout pattern. The dress has a small collar with a v-neck, and a button down front, hidden by a placket. The dress closes at the waist with a hook and eye and snap to close. The skirt is heavily pleated at the waist to give loads of volume, and hits roughly below the knee. Pictured here with and without a petticoat, to demonstrate the volume! Vintage, good condition. There are a couple of places where the decorative stitching has come away. There is a bit of a rust mark on the fabric where the hook and eye are. The dress presents beautifully, regardless. Please see the photos for details. No other notes! Clean and ready to wear.
