A beautiful Bakelite bow-shaped brooch! The carving is quite lovely and gives the shape such a fluid feel. The centre is decorated with rhinestones. Really charming! Tested with Simichrome, guaranteed to be genuine Bakelite.
Vintage, good condition. The top of the bow has a bit of a scrape, but I am quite sure this was a slip of the carving tool. The pin is a bit tarnished. I wonder if the brooch didn't have rhinestones down the centre at some point? Either way, it presents beautifully. Please see the photos!
