Vintage 1950s White Eyelet Lace and Sheer Gauze Dress / 28 inch waist

This beautiful 1950s dress is such a treasure! The top is eyelet lace, with a charming little collar, cuffed short sleeves, a darted bust, and pretty pearly buttons. The dress closes with a side metal zipper. The skirt is a crisp gauze, sheer as a whisper. I've photographed it here with a crinoline (not included) and without, so you can see how voluminous it is! No tags, please see the measurements for best fit.

Vintage, good condition overall, with notes: There are a few little spots or marks that I have photographed. The most significant being a faint mark near the base of the zipper. This manages to stay hidden in the folds of the skirt. There are a couple of other very small spots, as you can see in the photos. One on the upper chest, which looks to me like a brooch or corsage was pinned there and the metal discoloured the fabric where the pin pierced the fabric. Once a few inches below that, a very faint small mark. The other two are very tiny spots on the skirt, as pictured. No underarm discolouration. The dress has been revived to a nice bright white, the buttons re-stitched firmly into place, and has very minimal wear for a 75 year old dress. Such a beauty!
