A really lovely vintage specimen! This pretty early 20th century celluloid brooch is charmingly monochromatic, and has a nice shine to it. The brooch closes at the back with a trombone clasp. When people ask you what sort of flower it is, you will have the wonderful opportunity to burst into song, and regale them with Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Edelweiss"!
Vintage. Antique, even. Very good condition with one note: one of the large petals has a chip off the tip on the back side. I don't think it's noticeable from the front, please have a look at the photos. If you are looking at the back side, it's at about 7 o'clock. Other than this, the brooch is in fantastic shape. The trombone clasp and pin are in fine working order.
