Vintage 1950s Red Knit Top - Floral Appliqués - Short Sleeve

An absolutely charming short sleeved top! The material has a thin horizontal rib, and is fully lined. The top has short sleeves, a darted bust, and a zipper to close at the back. The front is decorated with sweet little pink and green floral appliqués, along with painted pink stripes, sort of like a fountain! Really a special piece. No tags. Please see the measurements for best fit.

Vintage, good condition overall. The zipper is older, but not the original. It has some paint loss on the metal pull. The lining has a few little holes in it, which do not show through or have any impact on the outer layer of the garment, mainly around the little studs that hold the appliqués in place. For lack of a better description, there is a missing stitch about a cm above the top flower appliqué. It's not a hole, it's a very minuscule difference in the knit, and is virtually invisible. All of that to say, the lining shows some signs of age and wear, but the top presents beautifully, and has been carefully cleaned. Ready to wear!

Length is 21 inches from centre neck to hem
